A new concept of gastronomy and leisure will arrive at Alicante's port in 2025, brought by Grupo Forty. The Alicante-based business conglomerate, led by the Del Barrio brothers, is working to present Béton Brut in the second quarter of the year: an ambitious proposal set to redefine the city's gastronomic and leisure offerings. Located in the heart of the port, it will occupy the historic site of the former Dársena, transformed into a multi-level experience space.
The year 2024 has been pivotal in shaping this ambitious and innovative proposal. From architectural design and interior decoration, developed by two renowned studios - one from Madrid with international projection and another from Alicante, responsible for bringing a Mediterranean character to the project - to the execution of the works, carried out by the Alicante company Llorca Group. The works, which began in November, are progressing well and are expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025, coinciding with Alicante's gastronomic capital status.
The name, Béton Brut, pays homage to architectural brutalism, a trend of great visual impact that adds personality and distinction to the space. This aesthetic approach becomes a statement of intent: a project that goes beyond the conventional offerings of the port, with a unique identity.
More than a restaurant, it will be a versatile multi-space, distributed over several levels, where each level will offer a differentiated experience. This diversity will allow the establishment to position itself not only as a gastronomic reference but also as a high-quality leisure destination in Alicante.
The goal of Béton Brut is to become an essential meeting point for those seeking a complete experience: gastronomy, cocktails, leisure, design with personality, and a privileged environment in the heart of Marina Alicante.
The opening of this new concept will represent a significant boost for the dynamism of the port, revitalizing an iconic location and attracting an audience interested in innovative and quality proposals. With this project, Forty Group contributes to positioning Alicante as a top-tier gastronomic and tourist destination, capable of competing with major national and international references.

"We will work to ensure that Béton Brut has a positive impact on the city's image and Marina Alicante," stated its CEO.
This statement reinforces Grupo Forty's commitment to innovation and quality, consolidating its leadership in the province's hospitality and leisure sector and reaffirming its commitment to a vibrant, dynamic Alicante with an excellent offering in the current tourist landscape.
