Valentina Tárraga Quesada, from the Rabasa bonfire, has been chosen as the new children's bellea del foc of Alicante. This young girl was selected on the night of Friday, April 12, from a total of 84 candidates to represent the city and its official festivities, les Fogueres de Sant Joan.

Since her name emerged from the eighth envelope, the one that reveals the new children's bellea del foc, this girl has begun writing her first lines in the golden book of Alicante's Hogueras. She did so amidst tears and applause, embraced by her dames d'honor and the warmth of an entire city.

In this new adventure, within her bonfire journey, the new children's bellea del foc of Alicante is accompanied by six other girls with fiery eyes. Her dames d'honor are Adriana Torres Martínez from Sagrada Familia, Sofía García Velasco from Baver-Els Antigons, Elma García Javaloyes from Gran Vía-Garbinet, Noa Torres García from José Ángel Guirao, Alba Otero Sereix from Portuarios-Pla del Bon Repós, and Carla Vicedo Morote from Plaza de Santa María.

All were chosen by the jury of this election - under the motto 'Escola de foc' - in the respective envelopes read at the climax of the gala held once again in Alicante's bullring, filled with audience and emotion.

Once positioned in the front row of the stage, alongside the jury, candidates, and members of the Federation, and in front of the rest of the bonfire and barraca members in the arena and stands, they sang the anthem of Alicante and les Fogueres de Sant Joan.

'Escola de foc' was the theme of the children's bellea del foc election gala, led by presenters Hugo Olivares from Foguerer-Carolinas, Manuela Moya from Florida Portazgo, and Candela Mas from Sant Blai-La Torreta.

These masters of ceremonies transported the audience to June 19, the first day of holidays, end-of-year dance, and the start of this school in the open street, that of Alicante's Hogueras. "For us, those days, besides fun, are a wonderful lesson in tradition, art, music, and brotherhood," they acknowledged.

In this vein, their speeches, jokes, and surprises continued; along with various performances that served as transitions between each part of this festival. A total of 184 boys and girls from different bonfires and barracas filled the stage with euphoria and excitement in the minutes leading up to the election.

Digital content was also present in the bullring through several screens located on the stage, which served to complement the performances, showcase the candidates, and bring the live event with more details to the various stands. One of the most anticipated moments was the farewell video of Martina Lloret and her dames d'honor.
